Supply Lists

Parkland Village School is offering parents the opportunity to pre-purchase school supplies for the 2024-2025 school year through Write-On Stationery. This online service is not mandatory, but it promises to save you time.

You may place your order directly on the Write-On Stationery website with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Visa Debit or INTERAC Online. Once on the site, click on "FOR PARENTS," then search for and select "Parkland Village School" and your child's 2024-2025 grade, then click "LOGIN." On the next screen, select the products you want to order, scroll down to enter your child's name and choose "School" under delivery method. Click "ADD TO CART" to review your order and proceed to checkout.

Online orders must be submitted by Thursday, August 1, 2024. Supplies will be delivered to the school during the week of August 19, 2024.

Please download the supply list for your child's grade (see below) and use it when you shop.

About the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Initiative

PSD schools are committed to enhance student learning through the BYOD Initiative. We hope to encourage an environment where each student has his or her own mobile device to use both at school and at home.

The BYOD Initiative is entirely optional, and students are not required to bring their own devices to use at school.

Purchasing Devices

Parents and students can make their own decision as to which device to purchase for BYOD. We do recommend that all BYOD devices meet the following criteria:

  • Internet connectivity (through Wi-Fi or other)
  • 6 Hour Battery Life
  • Ability to connect to Google Workspace For Education
  • A Keyboard – integrated, Bluetooth or touch screen
  • Word processing capability (more than 1 paragraph)
  • Ability to integrate images, video and sound

Parkland School Division has partnered with a selection of businesses to aid with BYOD purchases. Visit the Technology For Learning page to access these offers and learn more about BYOD.
